I find the best forecast is on the web here. It's the Norwegian met service, and the reports are pretty accurate, especially for here. Main drawback is that wind speeds are given as metres per second. Conversions are quite easy, multiplying by 2 1/4. We're forecast gusts of 100 mph for Friday lunchtime, averaging 29 m/s or 70 mph..
