Goosles: Preening in the Wind

More ruffled in large.

I visited the Goosles briefly this afternoon: it was very grey and rather gusty, but it was uplifting to see them, and it is always fun to see their feathers blowing in the wind...

Jurgen appeared while I was there: he was in the area (taking a fox to the vet) so swung by to check in on the Goosles (et al.) and spotted an injured pigeon while we chatted. He threw down some grain and we both kept still: he quickly (and without causing much ado) caught the pigeon, untangled its legs (it had thread tightly bound around both) and checked it for infection. Amazing to see; what a gentleman.
