Tea Break

This is what is known as an emergency blip. I went to buy my Japan rail pass today which gives me unlimited rail travel in Japan for seven days for only £150. Bargain. I'm used to the complete lack of efficiency and common sense of the Chinese so I allowed myself plenty of time to sort it out. The ruthless efficiency, politeness and friendliness of the staff at the Japan Airlines office took me by surprise so I had a bit of time to kill before I needed to be at work. I went and joined the cosmopolitan side of Beijing in a nearby Starbucks and read my new Kindle for an hour. Thanks LooseCannon and Technophobe for the Christmas present!
