Halong Bay
A very misty and grey Halong Bay, not the emerald green vegetation, white cliffs and dazzling turquoise sea you see in the travel brochures. Disappointing at first, but the grey green Karst rocks like upturned ships hulls receding off into the horizon on a calm khaki sea had something special about them. It is winter here after all.
