Chainsaw sculpting....

......on an old dead jarrah tree trunk.

All you need are:
- small chainsaw,
- steady hand,
- a good sense of three dimensions
- dead hardwood tree trunk in your backyard or park,
- historical animal*!

And voila, more interesting than turning it into a chair!

This clever sculpture using a dead tree trunk still in the ground, is of the Nannup Tiger. Nannup is a small timber town in the south west of Western Australia about 40 minutes east of Margaret River.
