Shiv Bhoomi at night

We finally felt that the house was habitable - and spent a night there. Finishing the shit pit (a magnificent structure far exceeding this lowly description, although unsure how it may cope with large snow falls) and washing / oiling all the floors were the final stages. The wood (mainly Cedar for the final joinery, Daar for the bigger timbers) looks wonderful with a couple of coats of mustard oil on. We didn't really cook - we'd brought picnic foods & brewed chai - and settled in for the night.
This is a long exposure of the valley below. Venus was the first bright speck in the dusk sky, quickly joined by twinkles both celestial and electric. The tiny blue led on Rich's music speaker gives the neon chic.
