Choice

Ok, its another blip from Carluccio's. It's possible I eat there too often.

My nephew tackled his English Higher exam today, thankfully an appropriate question came up around Othello. But sadly not for the Ted Hughes poems he studied, forcing him to write on a short story he wasn't very fond of. I know he's done his best though.

First moment in a while - oh probably about five years ;-) - that I have almost managed to impress him: by knowing who Ted Hughes is. And how to pronounce 'Iago'.

Talking to him reminded me that I left university intending to write a great novel. But spent the next 18 years trying to decide whether to make it in the first or third person. God.
