How much is that doggy in the window?

When we went to the shop to get some more dog food for Millie and George Mr F wandered off to look at the puppies. I didn't want to look because it upsets me and makes me want to buy them all, take them home and give them a nice life, so I never look.
But this time I was persuaded. He had a little femail retriever in his arms who had snuggled in and was licking his face, while her brother was running around getting into mischief. Mr F wants them both.
Goodness knows how much extra mess, mud and fur they would spread, not to mention the cost, and the space they would occupy, as we already have two large dogs. I managed to talk him out of it, but they were very cute. Always better not to look I think.
