Our national symbol

While "birding" at Dead Horse State Park in Cottonwood I was ready to call it quits when I saw this fellow off in the distance. It took a few minutes to get there close enough ...to have him fill the frame and he didn't seem to care that I was walking around the base of his tree stomping through the tall snow covered weeds and grasses. It's the closest shot ever and nearly a year since "shooting" one from much farther away. I shot up 2 Gig of "digital film" to pick the "bestest of the closest" image.  Thank you Mr or Ms Bald Eagle.

It seems I can't edit or even delete my own comments to if I make a typo.  So thank you for your understanding.  Apparently it's a BF common issue on the forums.   Edit: finally!!!!!!!
