only slight fail

An anticipated but only-just-encountered problem with my new handlebar arrangements is their reduced suitability as a load-bearing point when the bicycle is inverted. Whilst I was worrying about the lever getting a bit bent whilst I trued the rear wheel the greater danger was probably posed by the pointy lever to the soft lino. An attempt to sort the front wheel out whilst the bike was still attached to a rack in the office car park at lunchtime was only partially successful but at least reduced the tendency of the front brake to grab and release, slightly risky in the rain with a front tyre from which the newness has not yet been fully worn.
