Sooner Them Than Me

My day was bad enough, without going for a swim at sunset as well ...
I knew today was going to be a bit of a disaster before it even started ... It's all to do with the way Tuesdays and Thursdays link together on the round that I'm doing at the moment ... Without going into all the complicated details, last Thursday was New Years Day, which meant that this Tuesday included bits from last Thursday ... Combine that with all the roads that are closed at the moment and schools re-opening which made the traffic even heavier, I mentally prepared myself for a bad day ... :o|

Actually, despite the fact that today of all days my regular van wasn't available for use, I thought I was doing quite well in the spare van ... Doing quite well, that is, until the gears stopped working at precisely the same time that it started to rain ... In many ways things started to go downhill after that ... :o|

But, I survived yet another day ... and things can only be better tomorrow ... I hope.

However, as you can probably see by the picture I took at Chouet Bay at sunset, the rain did stop after this mornings outburst ... and it turned out to be quite pleasant ... Although having had one soaking already today, I wasn't tempted to join these two chaps, seen here emerging from what must have been a very refreshing dip in the sea ... :o)
