Gollum's Pool

This morning Michelle and I decided to do one final walk in the National Park before heading back to Auckland. Not quite as long as the Tongariro Crossing, this 800m walk took us through bush and down steps (bit sore) to Tawhai Falls - the location used in the Lord of the Rings trilogy as Gollum's Pool.
Pretty cool place :-)
