Bathrooms, Babies & A Blur!

After a couple of years of nagging, I eventually broke down and agreed to have our bathroom renewed. It had gone to look dated with green flowery tiles. It's all been ripped out ready for replastering and re-fitting.

So later this afternooon we went to chose some tiles. We both liked the same ones of the hundreds we saw. On calculating the quantity it was obvious why we liked them - they were expensive!

Our favourite long haul destination is Mauritius. On two occasions we've meet three couples. The ones from Germany, Gordon and Stefanie, had a baby boy earlier 2014 called Ferdinand. On New years evening, I had a text from the other couple from Hull, James and Anna, who's wedding we went to last year, that they had just had a baby girl they're calling Tallulah Rose! A card and dress was needed, which I need to post tomorrow. It's been an expensive day.

The third couple, Fae and Hilary, we met in Mauritius last year, who got married at the hotel when we were there. Could another baby be on the cards?

It's been a gorgeous sunny day. The mildest winter we've had for years. The blip photo is of the sun shining through the trees in the forestry behind our house. It's a deliberate blur. I like the smudge of blue, green, yellow and the elongated tree trunks.
