I think it might just work.

Image transfer worked better than it usually does...
soaking old pants in watercolour for stamping lace edge of water didn't go to well though.
Found some sheets of lace effect paper and spray mounted those along bottom edge instead... then dribbled watercolour onto it - then blotted it off here and there...
and still had time to put an hour into latest pastel drawing.
A good day.
and it's only ten past three :-)
