Frosted Artichoke
A very heavy frost made for a particularly beautiful dog walk over the park this morning. When we got home we put a lump of brisket in the oven and decided we couldn't be bothered to trek into town this afternoon to see the new Tim Burton after all*. Instead we rather ill-advisedly started on the task of taking down the tree - those pine needles are truly the spawn of Beelzebub!
*We're doing okay on our resolution to see more movies in 2015 - we all went to see 'Paddington' on New Years Day. Plus three of us 'did art' yesterday - an dual exhibition at Lakeside of British painting and sculpture from the forties (Graham Sutherland, Henry Moore and the like) and a very good, if occasionally harrowing, series of photos by Lee Miller - so I guess we've made a good stab at 'culture' already...!
