Pleeeeease!

Whew!  At last I have had my hair cut.  And please note the pink bow, which has stayed in placed for at least an hour.

Now I reckon I deserve a treat, which is why I am trying to look my appealing best.

Did it work?  No it did not, on account of it's not treat time yet.

I don't mind that because it gives me something to look forward to this evening, which is traditional treat time.

In other news, we've just heard that the fires are still burning, and they ripped through a wild animal sanctuary, killing quite a few kangies and koalies.  The owners saved as many as they could, but it's just so heart breaking.

On the positive side, there is a small army of volunteer vets and wild life officers going through the scrub look for injured animals, so they can be fixed and relocated.  

The weather is horrendous today, and there will be at least another two days of it, and then rain is forecast.

It can't come quick enough.
