Another hike, another bear!

Our final day in Big Bend, and another great hike, with 1200 sq miles, there are a few trails we haven't done. However thanks to Kimmy, our park ranger friend, we got a lift to the bottom of Blue Creek Trail and was able to walk a whole different side of the park.

Even with a new trail, some things remain the same, we met a bear! We have found however that the advice about putting your pack on your head, waving your arms and yelling doesn't affect the bears at all, they just sit and watch. However the moment I started singing, his guy got moving.....see bears just cannot stand tone deaf singing!
