At Home: Run Rabbit, Run Run Run

This rabbit has been running around our garden for months now. The dog and the cat have given up chasing it, and actually tonight, from no where it came up and sat at our feet. I am guessing that its tired and hungry. The children have given it a warm bed of straw, food and water for which it seems very grateful. 

Its a friendly soul, that makes me think it must be missed by someone.  I will take it to the vets tomorrow to scan for a microchip in the trace for an owner. After that, if he really is a homeless friend wanting a roof, then he's come to the right house. x
