Bargain!

For many months we have had a rubber band on the cold tap on our bathroom sink as it was dripping badly. Just before Christmas a friend was putting a shower in at my Mums so we asked if he could fit some replacement taps for us. They were well and truly stuck and suddenly there was a bang and the sink cracked rather badly. Hubby stuck it with some glue as a temporary measure. Our son in UK within a few minutes found a sink in the 'Aqua' on eBay near his home in great condition. It cost only £30.....bargain! He went and collect it and bought it over at Christmas along with his wife, the twins, the dog and luggage and Christmas pressies! Thanks Nic! Good job he has a big boot in his car. Today the sink was fitted and at last we have 2 working taps and a good condition sink. The bathroom suite is 40 years old but we quite like it. All we need is a replacement 'Aqua' bath now. Perhaps a new suite in the next year or so!
