I was outside the Houses of Parliament when a car pulled up and deposited the former Deputy Prime Minister, Chancellor of the Exchequer and Foreign Secretary, Geoffrey Howe right in front of me ...
 
I’ve never been slow in coming forward and there’s a Geordie saying about shy bairns getting nowt  ...
 
So, I greeted said former Deputy Prime Minister like a long lost friend and was rewarded with a photo ...
 
Any blipper worth their salt would have done the same ...
