Christmas Tree Alight...

Burning the Christmas Tree is a bit of a tradition, I love the smell and crackle as it burns. In recent years the Zoo have started using them, they are getting a lot of PR which is great so this might be our last burning tree year.

Back at work today, although I was at home as Poppy was off school. So we both worked on our laptops, I was on excel, email and catching up with CES news, Poppy was lost in RoBlox it was lovely.

Then George came over and I legged it to the study. Sarah and Darren took them to the pub for lunch, so I got some peace.

Decorations down (hence the tree burning) the sitting room feels a little bit bleak now, but not as bleak as no wine until the Jan 31st.

We are not one for fad detox things but we have been drinking far too much over the last few months and I'm feeling like a right chubster so I'm making an attempt to avoid all booze until our gig on the 31st.

I've also given up carbs, this could be interesting.
