Reflections on an empty ice skating rink

I was feeling creative today and I modified this image a little bit to confuse you... :-)

First of all, a massive thanks for all your lovely comments, stars and hearts on my silly pink wig self portrait yesterday. I do really appreciate them!

Took me a while to get through all the comments and thank you personally but I got there eventually! 

It was hard going back to work today after my holidays, especially because I was on an early shift and It was really difficult to wake up at the sound of the alarm clock, but I managed ok. 

Changing the subject now, as one of my new year resolutions is to moan less about stuff and have a more positive look on life, I'm making an effort to enjoy the new look of this site. My first impressions were not great; however, here's a list of the things I like about it:

- Larger thumbnails, so I get a better idea of the photos
- I can see you next to your photos
- There's a calendar function that helps you find older photos easily
- I have an extra heart to give
- When I look at your journals I can see nine of your latest entries, so I know if I have missed any. 
- I get anniversary notifications via email. This helps me not to forget them! :-)
- When I reply to a comment or someone replies to one of my comments, I can see the thumbnail of the picture it refers to.
- It's faster to upload a picture
- We don't get the extremely irritating over capacity messages any more and the site doesn't crush at crucial moments (it happened on my second anniversary. I lost all my text and nobody was notified. I still remember!) 

Things I would like improved:

- Views, stars and hearts added up properly (at the moment it's a mess!)
- I'd like to be able to edit my comments
- Finding friends (being able to list my friends in alphabetical order would help a lot!)
- Star notifications sent separately, so I don't miss other notifications.
- If you take too long to write your text, you're logged out and loose your entire entry. (It just happened. Grrrrr!) Thank god I made a copy of the text just in case.... 

I can't think of any more just now, but hopefully these little things that are annoying me just now will be improved soon.
