Always a good sign

The grey lichen on this plant is a good sign that the air quality is not highly polluted. I noticed it on this plant that has survived being completely under water for two months last year whilst some around it did not. Not a test I would encourage anyone to try out but this garden is so low down all the excess water in the area flows into it.
