Redpoll

Morning quite rainy. Cleared up later in the day. Went out to the reserve and took some photos of the birds.

There were quite a lot of redpolls, great tits, chaffinch, siskins and goldfinches. A woodpecker flew past a couple of times and a jackdaw was trying to balance on the feeders. A fox crossed the meadow.

I had a more focused shot of a chaffinch but I rather like the redpolls, they are small and colourful. So have blipped this. This is a female, so she doesn't have the red on her breast.
