First Sunday

Cumbernauld Old Parish Church on the first Sunday of 2015.

The sun that shone on the morning of 4th January wasn't long in disappearing behind a curtain of cloud and the rest of the day was cold and grey, so I'm glad I pictured the kirk just after our first morning service had finished rather than on my return to the Village after our second service  in Balloch.

Amazing to think it's now six years since we had our 350th anniversary celebrations - the New Year isn't shy of reminding us all how quickly time flies!
