Life's [another] beach

I have come to the realisation that the Coromandel is stunning.  I guess I knew this already but only really in a read-about-it or seen-a-few-pictures kind of a way.  To be amongst it, to experience it, to relax in it, to soak it up......well, that's the dawning of true realisation.  

Yes, it's summer, it's warm, it's relaxed, it's bright, it's sunny, it's blue and I know it's not always this way.  But I'm pretty sure that when the tourists (oh!  that's me!) have all gone home and the residents have regained their slice of Paradise, even when it's mid-winter, grey, cold, raining and howling a gale, it would still be a very special place indeed.

I feel very fortunate to have been able to enjoy a few days here with such special people :)
