Cardinal

We don't get too many cardinals - at least not as many as I think we should have! (Everyone has cardinals, don't they?). Anyway, about a week ago a new pair showed up at the feeder and they've been quite actively visiting ever since, especially the female. I don't have any pictures of a female cardinal - they always seem a bit on the nervous side - so I was pleased when this on relaxed long enough for me to get the shot. If only the tip of her tail was not hidden by the feeder tray I'd be completely happy.

(I can hear Mr. L. in my mind muttering something about cups being half full...)
