Backblip.

Can anyone shed light on why I have dozens of these little bees on Cotoneaster horizantalis (argh) that's not yet in flower and green plants, while ignoring the bluebells and some other mystery white flowers????

They were all objecting madly as I finally got round to weeding the front border - do they nest in the ground by any chance?
