Bear Valley

The final focus of our trip. ... coming back to BV where D used to work years ago and daughter K went to school at age 11-12 (now she's 25!).
This is just the best way to finish, so few people, great landscape in the middle of the mountains, (the perfect antithesis of Las Vegas), and for D and K meeting up with old friends from the past. We managed to keep the whole thing a secret from K till today! She was blown away.
(oh. and the skiing looks great ... damn my shoulder, so frustrated).

Edit......i have just seen this image slightly larger on a tablet and am appalled at the poor sharpness - a result of one handed operation and low light. Will have to do better
