My Truck

This is a picture of my truck.  It is a 2002 Chevy Avalanche Z71 that I bought used in July of 2014.  It has a 5.3 V8 Vortec engine and is forest green so it matches my style.   Since I was very little I knew that I had wanted a Chevy truck as my first vehicle.  Up until about a year ago, I always thought that it would be a Silverado.  However, my dad told me about the Avalanche, and not to rule one out.  When I looked up the specs, it seemed like the perfect truck for me considering college upcoming and going to reenactments.  The bed is 5 feet long, however it can be extended to 8 feet if the back seats are put down and the middle partition lowered.  After I bought my truck, my family decided to take it to Canada on vacation with us as a way to break it in.  So two days after I bought it, it towed the four of us, all of our things, and a boat all the way across the border.  It had no problems whatsoever.  What this truck represents to me is my hard work that I went through to pay it off.  I worked for years to make up the money that I needed, but I finally made it, and couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
