It was the last gasp for the Christmas tree today. It's served us well and as its final gift helped warm the garden and incinerate some leaves at the same time. A real trooper. 

The house now has that completely uncluttered but slightly grim post-Christmas look to it.

The final day of the holidays. I can only imagine how much e-mail is waiting for me tomorrow. Not to mention the 6:30am alarm. And the train (new commuting bike is on its way... faster!).

Decisions, decisions. After nearly two weeks of Christmas food, what to have for lunch tomorrow. Burrito? Falafel? NK?
