Newport rfc were in a basement battle with Aberavon today and yet again a win was so important for Newport. But yet again this was not to happen. After a shocking first half Newport picked up the pace in the 2nd but could score enough to take the points. 

Back to the drawing board for Newport, hopefully the fact that most of our remaining games are at home may help us.
