London. Oxford Circus and Regent St. c1730hrs. All taken on the move, aboard the 453 to Marylebone Stn.

Bused it to work after discovering no Jubilee Line service, (or Westbound Circle Line (beyond Earls Court) as a contingency) only to find myself having to commute above ground on my way home too, because Westminster station was closed completely. It doesn't half throw you, when the route you take day-in-day-out and could do with your eyes closed, is suddenly taken away from you.

There were tourists everywhere. I say tourists but I suspect most were those off work for the holiday period and (trying to) do battle with the sales. My idea of sheer hell.
