Potion Pots

One of the things I hope to do this year is be more creative with my photo shoots. This of course includes being more creative with the props I use to dress the sets, and so I just made a start with a set of potion bottles.

These are old glass medicine bottles cleaned out, and the corks are cut down then sanded to shape from old wine corks. I'll stain them up to make them look old, then make handwritten aged labels for the fronts. Finally I'll fill them with various weird things that will hint through the glass, and they'll be ready for the shoot.
