Discretion is the better part of valour

We went for a trip in the canoe on Loch Arkaig. Winds of 12mph well within what we've done before. Five minutes in we got a much stronger wind. Canoe wouldn't do anything we wanted and we ended up paddling backwards/sideways into the safe shore. Despite me being used to very tippy boats it was H that stayed much calmer.

So we went for a walk instead and saw some good views with angry skies. The cup of tea at friends on the way back was good too.
