The body  chicken guards possibly discussing their fox alert tactics and that's Max in the background.  These 3 Alpacas guard our friend's free-range chickens.  I had hoped to get the chickens in the picture as well but Ben says they are all out first thing in the morning (I didn't get up early enough) and in the early evening too - I missed the moment then!   and all my shots were very blue owing to a very frosty morning and very bright sunshine.

On the way home I had a short walk along the canalside in the hope of seeing the Mandarin Ducks again but they were nowhere to be seen, just the Muscovys, the Mallards and a few Swans.

My cold/virus/lurgy which Mr T kindly shared with me is rampant now and the 'back to work depression' reigns supreme!!
