Hey! Nice to see you!

I know this is blurred, I mean really blurred, and I can't even claim it was intentional, but I got such a surprise when this Canada goose flew towards me as if to say hello that any technical skill I may possess as a photographer just disappeared.  I have seen it before and it has a ring round its ankle, so it should be with its pals at the nearby nature reserve.  Instead, it seems to be spending a lot of time with some domestic white geese which belong to a couple who live on a house boat not too far from where I live.  The goose stayed with me for a while, following me as I walked about, and spent quite a while preening itself.  I am now going to catch up with reading comments about the merger.
