New Forest Carpets

Today has been incredibly productive for me - I have had three loads of washing all done and dried/hung as appropriate.  The christmas decorations are all taken down and the tree was chucked out the balcony window.  The pine needle shower that resulted was shocking.  We did buy a non drop this year however didn't actually look at the instructions on how to keep it moist and non droppy resulting in a LOT of dropping.

It took a small bin bag to capture these all up but it is all done now and the house is back to normal.  I am convinced on fake trees from now on.  It was nice to go real tree for the first two christmases in our house but next year I am definitely faking it up and removing the hassle of the post Christmas Clean up.

Nibbler has this thing of stealing all the places Rosie finds to settle herself.  First it was the mini cat tree that Rosie had taken to sleeping on and now she has taken the spot on the downstairs armchair.  She is so naughty and I am convinced she knows what she is doing!  Poor Rosie.

Quite depressing getting ready to go back to work tomorrow.  First day of the work year.  I need to put in place all the holiday plans to ensure we can adequately plan for the Wedding later in the year.  Let not dwell on it until 6am Monday morning!
