A literary gathering

A day spent wrapped up in books, and an evening enjoyed with many friends and colleagues from my nine years at Kingfisher Publications. It was so lovely to see everyone. I think this was our biggest gathering since we all worked together back in 2008.

I'll have to find a quieter venue for our next gathering in spring. It's so annoying to have to shout above all the loud music that the bar staff refuse to turn down. We were the largest group in the pub and several of us asked for a reduced volume, but no. Grrrr.
