Word 101: Gold

Gold is for Goldfinch.
Today I saw my first juvenile Goldfinch of the year! They don't look dissimilar to the adults except for the lack of bright facial markings- they just have the brown continuing around their face.
My word of the day was chosen for obvious reasons, but I do quite like the word "Gold". It's quite fun to say... :)
I've been quite busy today so all the photo is is just ate diary I use for my words... Better shots in the future hopefully ;)
