In sympathy

There have been terrible bush fires not all that far from us. 

Me 'n Rani were have a moment's silence in sympathy for all the dogs and cats that lost their lives when the fire went roaring through some boarding kennels.  The owners barely managed to escape with their own lives, and have lost everything. 

I can't imagine how bad that must be.
