Zonked.

Today we left my sister's place, came back via Birmingham for 2 hours, then on to Nottingham to see friends. Sad to leave the Hendersons, it's been a lovely few days, and wonderful to get to know my niece and nephew better... We arrived in Nottingham tired, but happy to be reunited with friends Sireesh and Dipti, and to meet their 'new' daughter Nia who was born 2 weeks after we left the UK.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Asha saying she wants to go home to Ibiza...I'm glad that's where she feels home is, and that as lovely as this manic trip has been, she's ready to go back.
2) The car we've been lent - how on earth would we have visited so many people and places without the generosity of the couple who lent us their car??
3) Friendships that remain good despite distance and lack of contact.
