Saturday: Gnarly Tree

We had great weather in Rovinj.  Sunny, and just about warm enough to sit outside, drinking hot chocolate.  Actually, I should say drink cocoa - if you order 'hot chocolate' here, you get exactly that.  Pure, melted chocolate.  It's really sickly, even for someone with a sweet tooth like me.  

We went for a wonderfully long walk, all along the waterfront and along the beaches.  There was a lovely crispness to the air - such a nice change from the grey snowy skies we have recently had in Zagreb.  These trees are dotted all over the place - I have no idea what they are but I love their gnarliness.

We are now back in Zagreb but luckily I have this photo as a reminder of what a lovely sunny day we enjoyed earlier.
