frozen mountain

Thanks to my friend Michaela, whom I awarded 5* today for being such a perfect tour guide, I got to see winter wonderland in the Harz mountains. We walked along the "Rehberger Graben", a part of the traditional engineering of water in the Harz mountains. After the first snow had melted before Christmas, the water had moved down a cliff and frozen into man high icicles. Absolutely stunning.
