Ice flows

After a few false starts to the day (see MalcolmsEye) we headed up the mountainside on our snowshoes. We sat on the grass eating our picnic lunch in the warm sunshine, enjoying the icy surroundings of the nearby river.
Snow, sunshine, good friends and mountains - a perfect combination to start off the New Year.
