Time with the Teapots

Sav calls them the Teapots, probably because when he met me I used to call them the T's, and we always have tea/coffee and cake there.

Anyway, I had a good nights sleep last night - went to bed early, leaving Sav and the cats downstairs. He said they both asked to go out when he got up to go to bed, so he let them, hence I got a full nights sleep. Hurrah.

Dosed myself up with cold remedy and a proper coffee ( full on caffeine not decaf ) this morning and went off to work.

Forgot my coat, which didn't seem to matter at first as it was quite warm, and mucking out makes me sweat anyway! Then it started raining and carried on for the next 4 hours!

After a good, hot shower I felt better, so went out to find a birthday present for a friend and ended up buying a new coat for work at the same time - a good waterproof one!

The shop is part of an equestrian centre opposite ' Mary's ' house, but neither of her parent's cars were there, so we went to her grandma's. Before we'd even got into the house, Mary, Alex and their parents pulled into the drive too. We spent a happy couple of hours doing jigsaws, amusing Alex and having Christmas cake with a coffee. Alex hasn't quite got the blip thing yet, but Mary has. When she saw me trying to photograph him, she insisted I took pictures of her too. It took lots of attempts to get a semi decent shot of him, and the one of Mary isn't much better, but at least she sat still!
