I made fondue!!!!
No specialist equipment available so I used a normal saucepan and the teapot keep-warmer. Here's how: rub the inside of the saucepan with garlic, warm some white wine, add the cheese (half Gruyere, half Emmentaler), dissolve a little cornflour in some schnaps and add to the wine/cheese mass. It was DELICIOUS! We dipped white bread in it with wooden skewers.
