With mountains like these

By Sollergirl

Mrs Pepperpot is driving again!

Alaskan Malamutes, a Husky, a Belgian Sheepdog, a Collie and a Siberian Heinz 57. They were all so lovely and keen to take Mrs P out for a spin. She brought them all home.

The boys and I took the lift up to Ruinettes where a lovely Irish lady lent Mrs P some sticks to help her in the snow. After the inevitable conversation about the Shannon I had to interrupt them to tell her and the boys the surprise. They were all delighted, including our new friend who clapped her hands and jumped up and down with delight at seeing mum shoot off into the snowy mountains. It was fantastic, especially to see her at the helm on their return. M and I had taken the Mowgli bag for a walk along the trail. We found a strange rock and when we climbed up to investigate, it turned out to be a secret shelter, with a folding table, chair and bed, log burning stove and tiny window looking out across the valley. We met up again in time to leave the boys for their last lesson while we ate at Mouton Noir with the lovely Nick. The music was pumping by the time we finished and we did the apres full on bubbly style on the terrace, P got some great shots of the dancing girls and back home in time for tea. I have hundreds of fluffy dog/boy snuggling shots to sort, but this is what it was all about!
