A few mins after this was taken, 4 gay men arrived and the house was a flurry of sherry, wine, crackers and chocolate - in a last-Christmas-do-before-back-to-work effort.

Belated Christmas gifts were swapped.

Have to say - entertaining when full of a head cold, isn't ideal. Anyone fancy coming over to help me wash up? There's some wine left....
