Hassled Heron

A trip down to the Harbour entrance was rewarded with about half a dozen Dolphins, Eider ducks, Cormorants & Shags, kittiwakes and this Heron that was getting heavily hassled by the Gulls, but he just ignored them and took up a new fishing spot further down the shore.
I have just booked a place on the Hebridean Whale & Dolphin Trusts Research Vessel Silurian 10 days sailing round the Hebrides helping with their reaserch. Despite already spending 6 months of the year at sea I really excited about this trip
